My Portrait Session
Does PictureMe Portrait Studios® take group and adult portraits? How many subjects (people) can be in one sitting?
Yes, we do take group and adult portraits! Groups of six average-sized adults are best. However, if your group has seven or more adults, please call in advance so the studio can make special arrangements for equipment placing and posing.
How long will my portrait session take?
The average portrait session takes between thirty minutes and one hour to complete. However, every session is unique and your photographer will take the time necessary to capture your perfect portrait memories.

Can I make special requests at my portrait session?
We absolutely encourage you to share any special requests like birthdays, anniversaries, or specific poses with your photographer. Our goal is to create great portraits that you will treasure for a lifetime!
What are my methods of payment
We accept all major credit cards, cash and personal checks.
How much will my portrait session cost?
Cost varies widely, depending on the portrait package and/or products you choose. We will work with you to customize an order to fit your needs as well as your budget.
How long will it take to get my portraits back?
Your portraits will be available for pick-up at the studio in two weeks or less. If you need your portraits sooner, we offer a Portrait CD of your entire session that you can take home the same day. If you would like to add a Portrait CD to your order, an Associate would be happy to help.
Will I order my portraits that day?
Yes! You will be able to review your portrait session and select your favorite portraits immediately following your session. Once you have selected your portraits, your photographer will work with you to add special effects and personalization before placing your order.
What props will I have to choose from?
We offer a variety of props that can complement your photography session. We also encourage you to bring in your own props, such as a favorite blanket, musical instrument or other item that will help personalize your portraits. Nothing creates a unique portrait session more than your own special touch!
What backgrounds will I have to choose from?
We have a variety of backgrounds and they vary from studio to studio. We encourage you to talk to your photographer for more details on the specific background options in your studio of choice.

Is it better to book an appointment in advance or to walk in?
We encourage appointments to help ensure you are properly prepared for your session, but walk in customers are always welcome.

Should I expect a wait?
We know your time is valuable and we work very hard to begin every portrait session on time.
What should I wear?
Because we capture a variety of poses to help create your perfect memories, it is best to bring 2-3 different outfits to help capture different sides of you or your child’s personality. Don’t forget shoes, belts and accessories!
How many poses will I have to choose from?
Most photography sessions are completed with a minimum of six distinctly different poses. Be sure to talk to your photographer to ensure that you get all the poses you want during your portrait session.
